 Fall Retreat 2024: Meditation, Yoga, & Sound Healing

Join Jessica Bowles & Frannie Williams for a nourishing retreat to release, revitalize and replenish!

This 4-day women’s retreat will be held in the lush NC mountains,  just outside of Asheville, during the beautiful fall season.  Each day will consist of meditation, gentle yoga (open to all levels), opportunities to connect with nature, delicious farm fresh vegetarian meals, and so much more!.  The retreat will also include two amazing special guest teachers Marisa Cohen & Jules Wyatt.  And options for to schedule massage therapy, reiki healing, astrology chart readings, and intuitive guided sessions.

Shared Dorm Room - $130 per night

Session Details: 

Program 1:  Release & Restore

During our first evening session, you will discover the importance of retreat and how to nurture your whole being. You will be led through gentle yoga postures, breathwork, supportive Restorative yoga postures, a Yoga Nidra meditation , and guided journaling.  This practice will allow you to release tension and unconscious holding, open the body’s energy pathways, preparing you to glide into the weekend with more ease.

Program 2: Finding Freedom Within

During our first  morning session, we will be guided through the healing practice of Somatics Yoga, gentle movements to promote physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual releases of unconscious holding/energetic blocks.  Our body stores memory of all the trauma, emotions, and limiting beliefs you have yet to release. Through somatic healing we tap into your 5 senses to process these memories and release the emotions attached to them. You will also discover the positive, joyous emotional memory your body is storing.  This session will include self massage, vibrational release, and gentle movement, ending with a practice of grounding and recharging through a walking meditation in nature.

Program 3:   Create, Manifest, & Attract

For this afternoon session we will be exploring the power of crystals and when designing them into a grid how this focuses their energy and your intention in a particular way for a particular purpose.  During this class you will experience how to meditate with crystals, set an intention, and then be guided through the process of making the grid, followed by a closing meditation.  *INCLUDES a cloth grid & a crystal pack to use in class and take home with you!

Friday evening event: Sound Healing

Experience an evening of sound healing as Jules plays Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls tuned to the individual chakras while leading the group in meditation, visualizing, and feeling each chakra while the vibration of the bowls intensifies and opens in a safe space and comforting environment.

Program 4: Ayurveda for Easeful Living

During our second morning session, we will dive into the knowledge and practice of Ayurveda  and how it enhances our quality of living by giving us the wisdom to bring balance to all the cycles of our life.  Learn how this science of life can help us cultivate more ease of being by tapping into our basic nature and individual uniqueness, discover how to create lifestyle shifts to bring balance, and  learn how to enhance our mental and emotional wellbeing by aligning with nature's daily & seasonal cycles.   This class will also include guided journaling, and a calming Fall yoga practice.

Program 5: Astrology for Clarity & Balance

During this afternoon session, learn how the movements and positions of planets influence us and help us to understand ourselves and our life’s journey with more clarity.  Discover the patterns of energy the planets create, the insight and knowledge within your birth chart, your zodiac signs, and how unique you truly are!  Class will also include a gentle yoga, pranayama, and meditation practice joining the wisdom of the current planet energy with our own to help bring alignment and balance.

Saturday evening event: Immerse into Joy

For this evening event you will experience a room permeated with Reiki healing energy to deeply replenish your whole being and allow you to connect deeper into your heart space as we journey into the full capacity of your joy within.  We will reinvigorate the love in your heart as we practice guided journaling, gentle yoga to open the heart chakra, and a mini reiki healing.  After class we will gather around a bonfire for a burning ceremony to free ourselves of anything that is not allowing us to live from a deep state of love and joy!

Program 6:  Celebrate Your Journey!

During the Sunday morning session we will discuss how to continue to thrive in the peace we cultivated during retreat, and how to continue to incorporate these healing and nurturing practices into our daily life.  Them you will be led through an awakening yoga practice to increase prana (life-force) and clarity of mind, followed by a closing celebration ceremony!

Accommodation Options:

Semi-Private Rooms

Prama features 3 beautiful semi-private rooms with showers and bathrooms.  These rooms can be used to sleep a two people (two beds). Includes full linen service.


Dorm Accommodation

The Prama Institute’s eco-friendly dorm rooms feature large-style bunk beds. All participants will have a lower bunk with privacy curtains, pillows, and personal reading lamps. Includes full linen service. Bathrooms are conveniently located down the hall.
